WHAT YOU NEED TO USE THESE JAR LABELS

GINGHAM MASON JAR CANNING LABELS

I chose to create these mason jar labels in a range of colors inspired by summer flavors. Each printable will print out labels in strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, blueberry, mint, and peach. I designed two PDFs — one for 2″ jar lids and one for 3″ jar lids.  Choose whichever printable works best for your jars!

HOW TO PRINT THE MASON JAR LABELS

Begin by downloading the PDF that works for your style of mason jars.  The printable for regular mouth jars fits 12 labels on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet, while the wide mouth PDF fits 6 labels. Print the PDF onto sticker paper using a color printer.

Then, use a circle punch, compass cutter, or scissors (if you have a steady hand!) to cut out the labels. Peel the backing off of the sticker paper, and affix the label to the metal insert from the jar lid. Be sure to press down firmly so the sticker stays in place.

Finally, you can reassemble the jar lid and add it to your jar of canned goods.  Use a permanent marker (like a Sharpie) to label the jar so you know what is inside.

Not a canner? You don’t have to use these labels for jars of canned fruits and vegetables! Use them to label a jar of sugar scrub, add a gift tag to cocoa mix, or identify summer salads at your next cookout!
