When Spring rolls around I get this idea in my head. I want everything to be fresh and new and exciting. This usually manifests in my living space. I redo rooms and crochet up a storm. Like this crochet pillow.

Hook(s) size: I/9/5.5 mm

Yarn weight: 4 (medium)

Suggested yarn: Berroco Comfort –  2 skeins Pearl (MC), 1 skein Dusk (CC)

Yarn yardage: Pearl – 330 yds, Dusk – 155 yds

Tools – scissors, tapestry needle, polyester filling or pillow form

Approx. finished dimensions: 14.5” x 14.5”

Gauge: 2” = 7 sts by 9 rows

Special notes:

  • To change colors between main color and contrast color while creating the heart, work as far as the last sc in the current color. Begin the last sc in the current color, but work the last yarnover with the next color. Carry the main color behind while working the contrast color, drop the contrast color when changing back to the main color.
